Executive Director Recruitment & Transition Strategy
Synopsis:

As a newly established organization, we are seeking the expertise of a qualified local service provider to assist us with Leadership Recruitment and Transition Support.

Community and Social Impact Regina (CSIR) is a dedicated municipal non-profit, community-focused organization committed to enhancing the well-being and safety in Regina. As we navigate our strategic priorities using a collective impact approach, we recognize the importance of strong leadership in driving our mandate forward.

In anticipation of the upcoming departure of our Executive Director (ED) in April 2026, we are seeking the expertise of a qualified local service provider to assist us in identifying and securing a candidate who aligns with our core values and purpose. This leadership transition is crucial for maintaining continuity in our efforts to address critical community issues and ensure our initiatives continue to thrive.

BACKGROUND

Organization Overview

CSIR was established in Sept. 2022 as a municipal non-profit corporation, and is dedicated to enhancing the well-being, health, safety, and social inclusion of community members in Regina, situated within Treaty Four Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. Guided by our mandate, we strive to collectively create, facilitate, and monitor coordinated community and social impact strategies that address critical issues within our community.

Strategic Priorities

Our efforts are focused on advancing six key priorities: Substance Use, Safety, Food Insecurity, Intimate Partner/Domestic Violence, System Services, and Racism and Discrimination. These priorities were formalized in the Community Safety & Well-being (CSWB) Plan, which received approval from the Regina City Council in November 2021.

The CSWB Plan articulates the vision of a sustainable community where all community members feel safe, have a sense of belonging, and possess opportunities for meaningful participation. It underscores the necessity for community members to have their needs addressed across various dimensions, including education, healthcare, food, housing, income, and social and cultural expression. Collaborative Approach

Achieving the objectives outlined in the CSWB Plan demands collaborative efforts, utilizing a collaborative approach to promote community well-being and safety. We employ a strengths-based method to address the unique challenges facing our community, utilizing evidence-based responses tailored to local circumstances and the specific needs of Regina's community members.
