The Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU) –is issuing a Presolicitation Notice for the removal and disposal of a Security Fence at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS codes is 238990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. This effort is going to be a FIRM FIXED PRICE for the disassemble, removal and disposal/scrap of the Near-Port Security Barrier Ship Set (NPSB) at the Trident Wharf.
TASK
THE WORK CONSIST OF: The contractor shall remove the security barrier from the Activity, salvage the fence panels, and dispose of all material. The contractor may cut the old ship set into pieces sufficient for disposal, scrap, or recycling as required. Scrap value shall be applied to offset task order costs.
General On-Site Requirements
While on-site, the contractor shall be responsible for securing all materials and equipment stored at the site during the period of performance. The Government will assist the contractor in establishing liaison with the proper base commands and personnel to accomplish the safe and proper stowage of materials and equipment. The contractor shall be required to comply with all station regulations including security, fire, safety, traffic, hazardous waste disposal, emergency spill plan, heavy weather condition requirements, and the use of waterways at the Activity. Contractor vessels will be inspected by security personnel when entering Activity controlled waterfront areas. Hot work permits will be required for any hot work performed onshore at the Activity. All contractor submittals for this project shall be furnished to the Government in digital format.
