Description
The objective of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select an Engineering Consultant to
provide engineering services for all or part of the Project components. The intent is to install a
self contained wastewater septage receiver to accommodate commercial haulers. Work will
include information review, field investigation, concept, preliminary and detailed design, costRFP No.: UT-41-2025-03 Lac La Biche County Page 4
estimation, and all associated work. The Project will include the following tasks, but not limited
to:
- Installation of a self contained wastewater septage receiver to be connected to the
existing wastewater lagoon.
- Self contained receiver to include electronic controls and flow measurement to align
with existing software and programs.
- Prepare and provide Concept, Preliminary and Detailed Design drawings, IFT
Drawings, IFC Drawings and design specifications.
- Upgradation of existing infrastructure as required.
- Utility investigation for the purpose of install.
- Geotechnical investigation and environmental approval applications.
- Drainage improvements as necessary.
- Tender preparation, evaluation, and contract management.
- Construction and post construction services.
The scope of this RFP includes all required tests of acceptable quality control. The Consultant
will provide the County with all information as required to carry out construction work.
