Description
Your organization is hereby invited to submit a proposal for services required to replace the water main under the intersection at Hwy 11A and 60 St. for the Town of Rocky Mountain House (the Town), as detailed in this Request for Proposal.
SCOPE OF WORK
The goal for this project is the replacement of an existing 200mm Cast Iron water pipe under the intersection.
The existing water main has experienced multiple failures in the past 10 years; further failures are expected. Multiple repair clamps are on the existing line.
Construction methods such as directional boring or pipe bursting are to be detailed in the proponent's bid. Riskier construction methods must include a plan should the work not be completed as proposed, along with associated costs.
The intent of this RFP is to retain the service of a qualified General Contractor to complete the project.
