IFB No. 2026-183 Live Ammunition and Less Lethal Equipment
Collin County Law Enforcement is seeking bids to procure Live Ammunition and Less Lethal Equipment. Award of this contract shall be made to the responsive bidder who submits the lowest and best bid meeting specifications based on a sample pricing evaluation of percentage discount off catalog pricing . Bids must be submitted by Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 2PM, CST. All inquiries should be directed to Jingna Lyu in the Purchasing Office.


Background

The Collin County Sheriff's Office's (CCSO) mission statement is grounded in the belief that their fundamental duty is to serve and protect the citizens of Collin County with fairness, compassion, and respect. The CCSO demands excellence in the quality of their law enforcement, stressing professionalism, integrity, and timeliness, so that those they serve may feel secure. CCSO provides equal enforcement and protection of the law without prejudice or favor. CCSO promotes the setting of goals in partnership with the community, and prioritizes and addresses problems based on the concerns of the community. Committed to continuous improvement in law enforcement, CCSO promotes and utilizes the most modern techniques available. Based on their mission statement, the CCSO maintains a structured approach to force, authorizing both lethal and less-than-lethal options designed to manage risks while aiming to minimize fatalities. The department focuses on aligning equipment with modern training to enhance deputy safety and effectiveness in critical incidents.

While CCSO is the primary department using Live Ammunition and Less Lethal Equipment under this contract, additional Collin County Departments with peace officers that may use this contract include, but are not limited to, Constables, District Attorney's Office, District Courts, Juveniles, CSCD, and the Fire Marshal.
