Scope of Services
The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a pre-qualified list of providers of White Fleet Parts and Services for the district on an as needed basis throughout the School District of Manatee County. School District of Manatee County may choose any awarded provider to furnish whit fleet parts and services throughout the contract period. Specifications and the quality standards of service set forth in this bid.
The School District of Manatee County intends to secure a firm percentage discount to be deducted from the current pre-printed or online catalog prices and/or an established price list for white fleet parts. Bidders are also given the opportunity to use the cost plus method.

For background, the NAPA-IBS program operates as a strategic partnership where we provide a vendor-managed, on-site inventory solution within your maintenance facility. Under this model, NAPA owns and manages the parts inventory tailored specifically to your fleet needs, and the district only pays for parts at the time they are utilized. This structure is heavily utilized by government and school district fleets to significantly eliminate vehicle downtime, reduce administrative and transactional overhead, and remove parts shrinkage or inventory liability costs. Could you please let us know if the district is open to evaluating a comprehensive on-site procurement and supply chain solution like NAPA-IBS under this current solicitation, or if it would be preferable to submit this as an alternative vendor provision?
