On December 18, 2025, the City issued direction to pull the current bid advertisement and solicitation for the Recreation Central Square Complex & Police Dept. Impound Yard Facilities Improvement project. This action is being taken in order to re-word and clarify the scope of work to address vagueness and improve bidder understanding and responsiveness. As a result, the current bid process is being paused and the City will revise the solicitation documents accordingly.

Effective immediately, the City is withdrawing the current solicitation for this project. Any previously posted bid dates, including the deadline for submission and any scheduled opening date, are no longer valid. The bid posting on the City website will be updated to reflect the revised schedule once the updated scope language is finalized and the solicitation is re-issued.

Bidders and contractors who attended and/or participated as plan holders will receive an email notification confirming that the bid has been pulled and advising that the City will re-issue the solicitation with clarified scope language and updated dates.
