Town of Irricana
The Town of Irricana is currently in the process of replacing and upgrading its existing water meter reader system. The Town started this initiative internally, replacing a quarter of the town’s Water meter inventory including the software compatible with the new system. The Town is now seeking a qualified contractor to procure, install, commission and test the remaining four hundred (400) units (approximate). The Town will inspect each curb stop at the newly installed water meter locations for functionality and repair if required and requires coordination with the Proponent while installing the water meters. The Proponent is required to install T-10 water meter, or equivalent, with the Neptune Radio Frequency (RF) water meters, exclusively, for this project to align with the system currently put in place as noted above.
The objective of this RFP is to:
(a) Select the preferred Proponent with whom to negotiate a contract.
(b) Specify the requirements that would govern any resulting agreement(s).
(c) Determine costs.
