Dane County Landfill Site No . 3 - Phase 1 Cell 1 Liner Construction

Dane County is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Dane County Landfill Site No . 3 - Phase 1 Cell 1 Liner Construction , located at 4402 Brandt Rd Madison, WI . This project involves construction of a 13.4-acre cell at Dane County’s Site 3 Landfill.

Interested vendors should have demonstrated experience in landfill cell construction and the ability to manage projects of similar size and complexity. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 10:00 am at 7102 Maahic Way Madison, WI 53718, starting at the Landfill Trailer adjacent to Scale House , and all questions must be submitted by Tuesday, March 24, 2026 . Bid packages are due by Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 2:00 pm .

Dane County is developing a new landfill facility (Site 3) located at 4402 Brandt Road, Madison, WI 53718. The new landfill is being constructed to provide long-term solid waste disposal capacity. Dane County is also developing a Sustainable Business Park located north of the landfill cell. Construction of the Sustainable Business Park is anticipated to begin in Summer 2026. While that work will be completed under a separate contract, coordination between projects will be required.
