Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole‑source contract to Dell Federal Systems L.P. for the acquisition of Microsoft Azure compute services. Dell Federal Systems L.P. is the only authorized vendor capable of providing the Azure compute resources needed to maintain compatibility with the CDC’s existing Microsoft enterprise environment, ensure continuity of cloud operations, and meet federal security and compliance requirements.

This procurement is limited to Azure compute capacity and the associated Azure monetary commitments necessary to support the CDC’s mission‑critical cloud workloads. Procuring Azure compute through Dell Federal Systems L.P. ensures seamless integration with current infrastructure, consistent licensing management, and uninterrupted support for secure, scalable cloud operations across the agency.

This action will be solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302‑1(b)(1) and 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1). The applicable NAICS code is 518210 – Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting, and Related Services. Interested vendors who believe they can meet these requirements are encouraged to submit a written capability statement to the Contract Specialist no later than March 19, 2026. Verbal requests will not be accepted; all responses must be in writing.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all capability and pricing information received by the closing date will be considered to determine whether a competitive procurement is warranted. The Government’s decision not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely at its discretion.

Responses must be emailed to Ronalda Ohio, Contract Specialist, at uex0@cdc.gov.
