Project Description: Louisville Metro Government (“Metro”) (which is comprised of the former City of Louisville and Jefferson County, KY) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek the professional services from qualified contractors for Disaster Debris Response and Management Services. It is the intent of this solicitation to enter into a pre-event contract, which would result in a no immediate cost to Metro. This solicitation by Metro will result in the selection of one (1) and possibly a secondary contractor to remove and lawfully dispose of disaster-generated debris from public property and public rights-of-way, and to setup and operate Debris Management Site(s) (“DMS”) in response to disasters.
