Request for Letters of Interest
City of Hickory, North Carolina, is soliciting letters from entities that are interested in
investing and operating an aeronautical business in the Main Terminal Building at Hickory
Regional Airport ("Airport") beginning as early as July 1, 2026. This space consists of
approximately 1121 sq. ft. of office/storage space and has direct access to an aircraft ramp.
This request for letters of interest invites each entity to perform its own investigation and
make its own assessments as to the extent and nature of the business best suited for the
Airport. THIS IS NOT A BID, and the Airport is only attempting to evaluate interests.
When submitting a letter of interest, the Airport would appreciate prospective aeronautical
business operators to include the following: Type of Aeronautical Business, proposed lease
term, proposed hours of operation, estimated revenue, possibility of future growth, and
potential capital investment to improve space.
Minimum rent amount $1,367.62/month.
