The City of Santa Fe as owner of a public use airport facility is soliciting qualification-based sealed proposals for selecting a principal consultant to provide Architectural and Engineering (A/E) Services and Incidental, Planning, and Special Services as described in the Scope of Work, at the Santa Fe Regional Airport (Airport).
This procurement is conducted pursuant to the New Mexico State Procurement Code (NMSA 1978, §§ 13-1-28 through 13-1-199) and applicable state procurement regulations. The contract resulting from this Request for Proposals (RFP) for A/E Services will be funded solely through State of New Mexico legislative appropriations and local funds provided by the Santa Fe Regional Airport.
All work performed under this contract shall comply with all applicable state laws, regulations, and funding requirements, including but not limited to the New Mexico State Procurement Code. The Offeror is advised that the availability of funds for this project is contingent upon the appropriation and continued availability of state and local funding, and continuation of this contract is dependent upon such funding.
The procurement process shall ensure fair, open, and competitive selection in accordance with the requirements of the State of New Mexico, including applicable Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goals where required.
The Airport, originally built in 1941, has gradually expanded over the years. However, further development is now essential to meet increasing travel demand. Expanded parking, increased parking capacity , new rental car facilities, and enhanced shuttler waiting areas are necessary to accommodate rising traffic and improve the overall traveler experience.
