South Park Avenue Bridge Replacement SPB-2025

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received electronically through PennBid by Valley Township for South Park Avenue Bridge Replacement, Contract No. SPB-2025, until 10:00 AM, prevailing time, on the 9th day of April, 2025 at which time they will be publicly read at the Valley Township office, 1145 West Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA 19320. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
This project involves replacement of the South Park Avenue Bridge with precast concrete box culvert, streambank stabilization, road widening and repaving.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting at 10:00 AM on the 20th day of February, 2025, adjacent to the project site at the John A. Gibney Park at 6 Kirby Street, Coatesville, PA 19320.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
The project will be funded by a grant from the Chester County DCD and must comply with U.S. Dept. of HUD construction, contracting, and reporting requirements. Federal Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates apply to this project.
