Project Description: This Contract provides for cleanup and physical removal of any sewage backup from the City’s sewer systems onto private property within the City of Vancouver City Limits. Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring any backup waste removed from off-site to an authorized dump station. All sewage shall be removed from affected areas, blow dried, sanitized and usable for living again and or have a contractor fix repairs, if needed. Contractor must respond within two hours of City request. Contractor may use Decant Box at Westside Wastewater Treatment Plant upon pre-arranged coordination with the City, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The City intends to award one contract for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for one (1) additional year.
