Description

1. The proposed solicitation will be set aside for Small Business. The NAICS code is 562211, Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal, size standard $47M.

2. Description of items: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and expertise for the pick-up, removal, transportation, and disposal of medical waste up to and including regulated medical waste and trace antineoplastic/chemotherapy waste for the VA Medical Center, Boise, Idaho, CBOC (Community Based Outpatient Clinic) in Twin Falls, Idaho, Mountain Home, Idaho, Caldwell, and Salmon Idaho.

3. Period of performance. The period of performance is a base with four (4) option years.

52.217-8 will be included for an additional six-month extension. Anticipated period of performance is estimated to begin 5/17/2025.

4. The anticipated issuance of the Request for Quote is third week of March with an anticipated award date beginning week of May.

5. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
