The City of Cottonwood ("City") is soliciting proposals from interested firms (Offeror) to submit proposals for providing all supervision, labor, service, equipment, materials and any assistance necessary to provide the City with Vehicle Fleet Bodywork and Painting. The City requires that the repair facility be located within the City of Cottonwood. The City requires that the repair facility be located within the City of Cottonwood corporate limits. The repair facility must have the capability to perform collision related mechanical repairs as well as GMAW welding, and unibody and frame straightening. All repairs must be performed to Industry Standards set out by the vehicle manufacturers and/or I-CAR Standards.
All work is to be performed by, or under the direct supervision of Industry Certified personnel, I-CAR/SAE certified technicians are preferred. The Offeror may be asked to verify the credentials of any personnel that have performed repairs on City vehicles.

Sedans
Pickup trucks
Sporty Utility Vehicles (SUV) and Passenger vans
Medium duty trucks
Heavy duty trucks
Equipment
If any work is subcontracted, the successful Offeror will be responsible for any and all issues relating to, and the resolution of, any work that does not meet the standards set forth in this proposal to the satisfaction of the City of Cottonwood.
Historically, the City purchases approximately $30,000-$40,000 annually for bodywork and painting on vehicles that have been damaged mainly due to accidents and an additional $3,000-$8,000 for decals on squads.
