Technical Specifications for
Two (2) - 1/2 Ton Four (4) Door Crew Cab Short Bed Pickups
This specification describes the requirements for Two (2), 1/2-ton, four-wheel drive
pickups. The units must be safe and efficient to operate and built strong and durable
enough for heavy-duty operation over extended periods of time in a municipal setting.
All standard equipment as shown in the manufacturer’s printed literature must be
included in the bid, plus any modifications to meet OSHA federal and state
regulations in all respects. The units must be new and of the manufacturer’s current
model year in production at the time of delivery, and not a model to be phased out of
production. It is stressed that what follows are minimum specifications and while
they mention only the salient descriptive points of the unit, they do not exclude any
major or minor items not specifically mentioned, but which would normally and
reasonably be necessary for proper, safe, efficient, and beneficial use and ownership.
Bidding instructions:
A. Each technical item of these specifications shall be individually annotated by the
bidder in the first column provided on the sheet with one of the following
statements:

must be given in the second column provided, along with each entry describing
what exactly is being bid.
C. The individual cost of each item of the specifications must also be annotated if
its cost has not been included in the basic bid price.
