NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Pursuant to the provisions of KRS 424.260, the Kenton County Airport Board (Owner) will receive
competitive sealed bids for the North & South ARFF Stations Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP)
Modifications & Tank Installation project at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport
(Airport) located in Boone County, Kentucky (the “Project”). Bids will be received no later than 2:00 pm
on Thursday, December 4, 2025. No bids will be accepted after that time unless extended pursuant to
an addendum issued by the Owner.
The Project includes:
• Limited block demolition at North ARFF to allow tank access;
• Metal fabrication and safety rail installation at new block opening;
• Installation of new distribution piping, tank, and valves;
• Light electrical modifications to support new system installation;
• Hydro-Testing of the new system to verify functionality of controls, valves, pumps, etc.; and
• Interior painting.

A Pre-Bid meeting and site visit will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 10:00 am ET, at ARFF
South Station #1, 2100 Tower Drive, Hebron, KY 41048. Please RSVP by November 5, 2025, through
KCAB’s online bidding system https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/cvgairport. Select North &
South ARFF Stations Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Modifications & Tank Installation then
click on Events RSVP and provide the name of the person attending.
Bidders shall provide a Proposal Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total main bid amount as
specified.
The Owner, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,
42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, notifies all bidders or offerors that it will
affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged
business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation
and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin
(including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity),
age, or disability in consideration for an award.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid or bid guaranty, to reject
any or all bids, to award or refrain from awarding a contract for the work, and to negotiate with the
apparent qualified responsible bidder to such extent as may be beneficial to the Owner.
