I see permitting, if needed.
But if these are existing signs, and we are just replacing with new signs, would permitting be required? Typically, that is not the case. So please let us know if permits will be required, and if so, will engineering also be required as a condition of permit application? |

1. Can you provide me with the address locations of the five signs which will be getting these new sign faces?
2. Specifications call out for ½” white acrylic with vinyl overlays for all text, address and logo components. The first specification calls out “Digitally printed Dibond sign” – what is city expecting to be digitally printed? Can the panel be painted? 3. Is intent to have the new faces flush to the brick monument, or can we use fasteners off the brick and on back of panel, so that there are no visible attachment hardware on new face? 4. When is the city wanting these signs completed? 5. Will city waive the permit fees for each sign face replacement? |

In reference to the attached picture in the RFQ, the overall sign is digital printed dibond with the acrylic letters and seal attached. The sign should not be painted. 3. It is the intent to have the sign installed flush on the wall. 4. As soon as a bid is selected, the City will prepare a work order and PO in hopes to order the signs asap. 5. No, the City does not allow any waiver of fees and must be included in your proposal if necessary. |
