Description

1. Title

Expansion of the DLA Land and Maritime Engineering & Technical Support Directorate Product Test Center Division, Electronics Lab, VTP.

Requiring Activity: DLA Product Test Center Division, Electronics Lab, located at Cols, Ohio. Contracting Activity: DLA Contracting Services located at Cols, Ohio.

2. Introduction

The Electronics Product Test Center (EPTC) is requesting to acquire a complete vibration system for the expansion of the battery test center capability.

3. Background

DLA is contractually obligated to complete battery first article test (FAT) within a relatively short duration of receipt. Expansion of the battery test center is necessary due to the fact of the number of NSNs being transferred to DLA as the responsible activity for FAT testing.

4. Scope

Battery PLT testing is required by contract and the responsibility for this testing is being transferred to DLA Electronics Product Test Center. Contractual obligation requires that the FAT testing is completed within a relatively short duration of receipt of the material samples.

5. Applicable Directives

None.

6. Performance Requirements

1. Contractor shall deliver equipment listed below:

a. Electrodynamic shaker

b. Amplifier

c. Cooling blower fan

d. Vibration Controller

2. Contractor shall include travel, shipping, setup and training to DLA Land and Maritime

11. Invoicing

Payment of invoices will be accomplished by payment through the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. Invoices will be submitted to the Wide Area Workflow system in accordance with DFARS 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports and DFARS 252.232-7006 Wide Area Workflow Payment Instructions within 10 workdays after the conclusion of each training session.
