RFP # 2286-01 Affordable Housing Development Consultant Services

The Boston Housing Authority (“BHA”) is seeking affordable housing development consultant services from one or more qualified individuals or firms (each a “Consultant”) with significant experience in feasibility studies, financial modeling, project management including financing and permitting applications, and strategic planning. The Consultant will assist BHA as we advance the financial repositioning of BHA’s 10,000-unit subsidized housing portfolio (from traditional public housing sources of finance to a broad range of affordable housing financing sources); as we renovate and modernize the existing portfolio; and as we expand BHA’s portfolio of affordable housing through new construction. Proposals must be received at the offices of the Boston Housing Authority, Procurement Office, by hard copy hand delivery to Chief Procurement Officer; Bids/Proposals Drop-Off Box; located in the Lobby of 56 Chauncy Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02111 no later than Friday, November 08, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Proposals should be specific and concise. Requests for clarifications, interpretations, explanations, corrections, modifications, and/or questions, comments, and all other communications regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing via email to bids@bostonhousing.org no later than 2:00 PM on 10/30/2024 and will be accepted and processed by BHA solely in accordance with the terms of this provision. Any and all responses to Inquiries received by the BHA by or before the RFP Question Submission Deadline will be issued in the form of an addendum to this RFP to all persons and entities on record as having obtained a copy of this RFP from the BHA if the BHA, in its sole discretion, determines that the Inquiries require a substantive response. The BHA reserves the right to reject any proposals and waive any informalities if it be in the public interest to do so.
