NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management is
conducting a competitive bid process for the Install Bridge Crane at Joint
National Guard Field Maintenance Shop (FMS#1) in Saco, Maine. Bids will
be opened and read aloud by the Directorate of Facilities Engineering at
2:00 p.m. 3 December 2026.
Project consists of the installation of a 15-ton bridge crane in Area B of the
existing facility. The crane system shall include bridge rails, bridge trolley,
hoist, power and control circuit conductors, safety and control mechanisms,
and all other parts and services as defined in the drawings & specifications.
There are multiple Alternate Bid Items contained in this bid. A mandatory
pre-bidding conference shall be held on 5 November 2026 at 10:00 at the
facility located on 20 Eastview Parkway, Saco, Maine.
