PROJECT OVERVIEW
Cherokee Nation Cultural & Economic Development, LLC, is requesting a budgeting quote for the printing and binding of a commemorative pocketbook edition of the 1999 Cherokee Nation Constitution. This edition is intended for public distribution beginning November 1, 2025, and will closely mirror the aesthetic and quality of the US Constitution paperback edition (ISBN: 9781435145535).
The book will be printed in both the Cherokee syllabary and English. The Cherokee syllabary will be on the left-hand page, and the English equivalent will be on the right.

SPECIFICATIONS
Book Dimensions:
•        4.00" (W) x 7.10" (H) x 0.50" (D)
Quantity Requested:
•        5,000 copies
Cover:
•        Bonded leather
•        Single color background
•        Cover text:
o        Single color background
o        Copper ink (single color preferred) (foil embossed like US Constitution pocketbook)
o        Option for 4-color or fewer
o        Cherokee Nation seal on front cover or back cover embossed
•        Gilt copper edge
Interior Covers:
•        Full-color maps on both the inside front and back covers
Interior Pages:
•        100 pages total front and back
•        Paper: 60 lb white or cream offset (or equivalent to the US Constitution book)
•        Majority of pages: black and white text
•        6–7 pages full color (for maps/artwork)
•        Option to include a fold-out map (reservation or historical map)
•        Black and white images may appear on text pages

REQUESTED INFORMATION
