ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the construction of the Garfield Standpipe Extension & Rehabilitation to serve the City of Garfield will be received by the City of Garfield, Arkansas until 11:00 a.m. local time on November 12, 2024, located at 14655 South Wimpy Jones Road, and then at the office of Garfield City Hall, 14655 South Wimpy Jones Road, Garfield, Arkansas, 72732 publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of the following:
• Modifications to the standpipe including the extension of the tank by 20 feet, extension of the foundation, reconnection of the mixer, construction of a Concrete Vault for a Pressure Reducing Valve, piping adjustments for foundation, and miscellaneous appurtenances.
• Sandblast and Re-paint the interior and exterior of the standpipe.
Information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Form of Contract, Plans and Specifications, Bid Bond Form, Performance and Payment Bond Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Engineer, or at the Garfield City Hall, 14655 South Wimpy Jones Road, Garfield, Arkansas 72732.
Printed copies may be obtained at the office of Engineering Services, Inc., 1207 South Old Missouri Road, P.O. Box 282, Springdale, Arkansas 72765, Phone 479-751-8733, upon a non-refundable payment of One Hundred Fifty dollars ($150.00) for each set. Digital copies may be obtained through QuestCDN or through www.engineeringservices.com upon a non-refundable payment of Forty dollars ($40.00). Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount for and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
This publication was paid for by the City of Garfield, AR in the amount of $ 282.60.
