APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
This is a performance-based requirement to provide support to Air Force Medical Command /A3T (AFMEDCOM) with advisory and assistance, non-personal services necessary to assist AFMEDCOM with Non-Clinical Medical Professional Services support. AFMEDCOM provides operational medical capability by organizing, training, and equipping medical forces to be integral components of the war-fighting force, ensuring Airmen and Guardians receive timely, quality medical care while also meeting readiness requirements to operate in complex, contested environments. The mission covers a broad range of programs to include Comprehensive Medical Readiness Program (CMRP), Clinical Systems Program Assessment Review (CSPAR), Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), MEDIC-X, and readiness training and exercise working groups. The contracted services of one (1) Program Manager and one (1) Program Assistant are required to assist AFMEDCOM and the Operational Training and Exercise Branch with the planning, development, and execution of readiness training for the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS).
This requirement will utilize standard commercial terms and conditions in accordance with FAR Part 12. Advisory and assistance services are normally specialized to the need of the end user in terms of deliverables. There are no unique aspects of the acquisition. The government procures advisory and assistance services regularly, with many contracts in support of various offices. Negotiation will be necessary to ensure receipt of the best value for the Government.
