STATEMENT OF WORK
FOR RFP- 26003002 Project Manager for Immersive Theatre Performance for
Neurodivergent Youth at Capitol Modern and Touring Performance
It is anticipated that the proposed Statement of Work (SOW) will be incorporated as an attachment
to the resultant award instrument. The SOW, without restrictive markings, is your company's
affirmation that the SOW is non-proprietary.
BACKGROUND

Meets the National Endowment for the Arts outcome for use of state arts agency federal
funds:
* Learning in the arts at all ages of life.
o Support for activities such as workshops, mentorships, and
apprenticeship programs; and professional development for artists,
teaching artists, and other leaders.
OBJECTIVE
To continue the work the SFCA does for keiki of all ages and abilities, the SFCA is
seeking an organization to serve as Project Manager for the development and
implementation of an Immersive Installation at Capitol Modern. The installation, located
in one of the museum's smaller galleries, will support sensory-based performances
designed for neurodivergent youth, including those on the autism spectrum.
The project will begin with a touring performance created for preschool-aged children.
This production will then be adapted into an immersive, multisensory experience
tailored to the needs of neurodiverse young people. The selected Project Manager will
oversee the planning, development, and implementation of both the installation and the
associated performance experiences.
The installation performance may also be provided for babies and their caregivers, as
well as kupuna.

SCOPE OF WORK
The contracted vendor shall:
1. Co-design an immersive space
2. Assist in developing both productions
3. Manage the touring portion of the performance
4. Lead the scheduling coordination for both the immersive space and the touring
production
5. Develop a soundscape/audio experience for the space in the Museum
6. Co-develop a Social Story for audience goers for the performance in the Museum
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants or applications that are not eligible at the time of application will not be
accepted. Eligibility of Organization Applicants - at the time of application .
* Offeror shall provide all required services by July 19, 2027.
* Must be based and incorporated in the State of Hawaii
* Must have experience developing performance for young people and sensory
performances for neurodivergent young people
