ITB# 230000534-9, YKCC STWD Backup Power Generator
The Department of Corrections is soliciting for sealed bids from qualified contractors to decommission an existing generator and supply and install a new generator located at the Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center (YKCC) as described within Section 01000 of the ITB. Location of Work will be at Yukon Kuskokwim Correctional Center (YKCC) in Bethel, Alaska. Bids will be received until May 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM Local Time. Bids will be opened at 802 3rd Street, Suite 220, Douglas, Alaska 99824.

A pre-bid site visit is highly recommended, and is scheduled for May 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM Local Time (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). Interested vendors must contact the Project Manager: John Gard, (907) 269, 7391, to request and register for the inspection and submit the "Clearance Form and PREA Form" to the security agent to run a background check to allow access to the facility. The form must be filled out for everyone attending the site visit and must be submitted 72 hours in advance. Clearance Form is included in the bid packet. Email your form to john.gard@alaska.gov
Individuals with a disability, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services and/or special modifications to submit a bid/proposal should contact the Procurement Section listed above or the TTD number (907) 465-3274, no later than five days prior to the submittal date to make necessary arrangements.
