The following changes, additions, and/or deletions are hereby made part of the Bidding and
Contract Documents for the Construction of the Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion – Bid
Package.

and provide the correct contract times as this seems likely
a carry-over from another project’s specs?

use tax are to be excluded from pricing?
1. Yes, the City use tax are to be excluded from pricing
for this project.

Specification Section.

Can you please confirm what permits are anticipated to be
acquired and paid for by the GC?
1. Morgan County Road Use Agreement
2. Morgan County Building Permit
3. State of Colorado Electrical Permit
4. CDPHE Dewatering and Stormwater Permits
5. Any other permits needed to complete the work as
typically obtained by the Contractor
6. Engineer has worked through Morgan County
Special User Permit; Morgan County Floodplain
development Permit; CDPHE Approval for
Treatment and Site Application; Environmental
Assessment with CDPHE, CPW, and other
stakeholders;

Is the GC responsible for supplying and paying for the
RPR’s field oBice or just for “maintaining”?
1. The City will allow for the use of its oBice space at
the treatment facility for the RPR. This will be
relaxed as a requirement as stated below in
Specifications.
Can you please confirm who is responsible for paying for
materials testing?
1. Yes, the City will retain a materials testing firm for
the work and will pay for the service. The Contractor
will need to coordinate with the specific tester
retained by the City.
Can you please indicate the Engineers Estimate for the
project:
1. The Engineer’s Estimate of Probable Construction
Cost is $43.6M; however, this was developed when
the project was maintaining BABAA requirements.
The project is no longer subject to BABAA
requirements.

Replace: The Work will be substantially complete within 90
calendar days after the date of issuances by the Owner
of a Notice to Proceed and completed and ready for
final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of
the General Conditions within 120 calendar days after
the issuance by the Owner of a Notice to Proceed.
With: The Work will be substantially complete within 700
calendar days after the date of issuances by the
Owner of a Notice to Proceed and completed and
ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph
15.06 of the General Conditions within 730 calendar
days after the issuance by the Owner of a Notice to
Proceed.
