SCOPE: The JBSA Randolph Trainer Development Squadron (TDS) supports the DoD by designing, developing, manufacturing, and maintaining training devices and simulators. To effectively expand operations TDS requires the procurement of a vertical band saw capable of safely and efficiently cutting both wood and metal.
Salient Characteristics Requested:
Power Supply: 230 Volts
Speed Range: 50 – 450 FPM, with front mounted speed control
Feed Range: 0 – 140 LBS
0 – 3 Degree Canted Column: forward angle approach
Coolant Capacity: of 19.8 gallons or larger
