General Description

The City of Greenville will receive sealed bids for the purchase of three (3), three quarter

(3/4) ton work trucks. All trucks need the camper package suspension installed. All trucks

must be 4x4. All trucks must be white. All trucks must have a spray in bed liner and tow

package. One (1) truck needs to be an extended cab and long box. One (1) truck

extended cab, long box, with a plow package. One (1) truck regular cab, regular box, with

a plow package.

Bid Information

Any changes and/or addenda to this bid will be posted on www.greenvillemi.org under

the bids tab. Any and all questions regarding this bid shall be directed to the principal

contact listed above.

Bids are due 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 14, 2026

Please submit your sealed bids using the attached bid form, as well as all other requested

information. One copy of the bid shall be delivered to:

Evaluation of Bids

The City will review submitted bids and other relevant information (cost, best value for the

municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the products to which the City wishes

to purchase. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or no

reason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of the

City of Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the bid

selection process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation process.

Selection of Bids

It is anticipated that this agreement will be considered by City Council on July 21, 2026.

The “Total Amount Proposed” cost will be valid for a minimum of 60 days after the bid

opening date and prospective vendors will be held to the price presented.

Scope of Work

1. 4x4, ¾ ton work truck, camper package suspension, extended cab, 8ft box, white,

plow package, spray in bed liner, and tow package.

2. 4x4, ¾ ton work truck, camper package suspension, extended cab, 8ft box, white,

spray in bed liner, and tow package.

3. 4x4, ¾ ton work truck, camper package suspension, regular cab, regular box,

white, plow package, spray in bed liner, and tow package.

Procurement of vehicles as soon as possible.

No sales tax may be added to the bid price, as the City of Greenville is sales tax exempt.

Any shipping costs for merchandise must be paid by the vendor, as part of the bid amount

proposed. Additionally, the final proposed total cost covers the entire scope of the project.
