RFQ for On-Call Engineering Management Services

The County of Yuba is accepting proposals for On-Call Engineering Management Services.

The County is seeking a consultant to perform in a management support role. The ideal consultant will be an individual with experience in managing agency projects. The County anticipates the consultant will manage projects with oversight from Caltrans, California Transportation Commission, Sacramento Area Council of Governments, Federal Highway Administration, Department of Water Resources, and others.

The contract will be funded with Federal, State, and local dollars. This is an on-call and task order based contract.

The DBE goal for the contract is 0%.

Services will be provided on various projects through 2029.

The On-Call Engineering Management Services requested will cover projects including, but not limited to, roadway improvements, drainage improvements, bridge rehabilitation and replacement, miscellaneous bridge projects, and more. The projects will be funded by a variety of programs including Federal, State, and local funds.

The County of Yuba Department of Public Works would like to supplement the current staff with an experienced consultant to help manage capital improvement projects. The Public Works Department is comprised of a relatively young staff, and gaining experience, and it would be beneficial to the department to augment staff with a consultant in a management support role.
