Date: Wednesday, January 22, 2025
Time: 09:00AM EST (Check-In)
Location: Courtyard Jacksonville Orange Park, 610 Wells Rd., Orange Park, FL 32073
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southeast (NAVFAC SE) is holding an Industry Day for two upcoming re-procurements: N6945025R0003, Base Operations Support (BOS) Services at Naval Station (NS) Mayport, Jacksonville FL; Blount Island Command, Jacksonville, FL and outlying areas supported by these commands, referred to as MBOS, and N6945025R0024, BOS Services at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, FL and the outlying areas supported by these commands, referred to as JBOS.
This event is open to all contractors interested in facilities support contracting (FSC) and subcontracting opportunities with NAVFAC SE, specifically regarding these two BOS contracts, MBOS & JBOS. The forum will provide the information you will need regarding the upcoming re-procurement for both of these acquisitions and offers a chance to participate in a question and answer session with NAVFAC SE public works and contracting personnel in an open forum and in break-out sessions. This will be an excellent opportunity for contractors with NAICS code 561210 and similar BOS experience to collaborate with NAVFAC SE to provide the best facilities support contracting to the Navy.
NAVFAC SE is seeking innovative ideas and feedback concerning the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), specifically on how we can improve our solicitations and service delivery for both MBOS and JBOS and increase competition for these two procurements.
The MBOS services include all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to effectively execute: Port Operations, Facility Management; Facility Investment; Custodial, Pest Control, Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM), Swimming Pools, Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping, Utilities Management; Electrical; Wastewater; Steam; Water, BSVE, and Environmental. A draft PWS for these BOS services is forthcoming and will be uploaded to this notice prior to the Industry Day. The contents of the draft PWS are for industry use in providing feedback during this Industry Forum and are subject to change.
The JBOS services include all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to perform: Facility Management; Facility Investment; Other (Training Pools); Utilities Management; Electrical; Wastewater; Steam; Water; Compressed Air; Base Support Vehicles and Equipment (BSVE); and Environmental. A draft PWS for these BOS services is forthcoming and will be uploaded to this notice prior to the Industry Day. The contents of the draft PWS are for industry use in providing feedback during this Industry Forum and are subject to change.
Breakout sessions will be conducted with potential offerors to meet one-on-one with the Government in the afternoon. The quantity and length of each breakout session will depend on the number of meeting requests the Government receives.
