Leon County is seeking the services of a contractor licensed in the State of Florida as both a General Contractor and Roofing Contractor to furnish and install a standing seam roofing system over the existing roof, including replacement of gutters and downspouts replacement of the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Fleet Building.
Background
Standing Seam Roof Over for the LCSO Fleet Building located on the 2825 Major James Morgan Way (Municipal Way) site.
The current Fleet building roof is approximately 9,600 square feet, was installed in the late 1980’s. It is currently a corrugated metal roof over standard 1.5-inch bagged insulation connected to a combination of Z purlins and C purlins. The bagged insulation is mostly intact. The building currently has chain operated ridge vents as well. HVAC was added to the shop area.
