Description

Performance & Development Solutions (PDS) is a training program within the Department of Administrative Services, Human Resources Enterprise. PDS is committed to enhancing the skills, effectiveness, and leadership capacity of public employees across the State of Iowa. Through strategic coordination and delivery of relevant training programs, PDS empowers staff at the state, city, and county levels to perform their roles more effectively. PDS actively promotes and schedules seminars designed to meet the evolving needs of public sector professionals.
Each course typically has 20-25 participants and is held on site at the Hoover Building, 1305 E Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa. DAS schedules courses for a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) we work with the vendor prior to each fiscal year end, to schedule classes for the next fiscal year. We work with vendors to give them timely notice if a course offering will need to be cancelled due to low enrollment.
