ADDENDUM #1

Plainfield Park District

Prescribed Burns – Various Sites Bid # 2053

This addendum becomes part of and modifies, amends, and clarifies Project Manual for the above-mentioned Bid. All

provisions and requirements of the Project Manual shall remain in effect except as specifically changed in this addendum.

Below is the list of revised items in Addendum #1 (items to follow):

1. CLARIFICATION: Per pg. 30, work shall begin on or before September 1st, 2026. Work may begin this winter/early

spring of 2026 if all permits, contracts, insurance, and other requirements are met.

2. CLARIFICATION: Per pg. 30 & 53, substantial completion shall be achieved on or before May 15th, 2027. This date

may be moved if weather conditions require.

3. UPDATE: On pg. 52 the specifications note “burn report must be submitted no later than two months after

completing the burn but before December 31, 2026, and before final payment for services is rendered”. This

deadline is updated to June 15th, 2027. All burn reports must be submitted before the final pay application can be

processed.

4. UPDATE: Current specifications on pg 49 note “Burns shall be conducted on weekdays.” The Plainfield Park

District will allow Saturday burns. All notification requirements to Owner and first responders still apply.

Receipt of this addendum shall be acknowledged in the Bid Form and by signing below and including a copy of this

sheet with your bid submission.
