The Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure all necessary labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, equipment and conveyances, mobilization and demobilization as necessary to provide tree cutting and clearing, land grubbing and the removal of a windmill and fencing from the Princeton Road Station site located north of Sheldon Station, 4500 West Pella Road, Hallam, Nebraska. The work under this Contract shall include, but not limited to; tree and brush removal, grubbing, disposal of waste and debris and all other requirements as specified in these Contract Documents.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting/teleconference and site visit for prospective Bidders will be held on November 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., CST, at Sheldon Station, 4500 west Pella Road, Hallam Nebraska, 68368. The purpose of the meeting will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder's responsibility, while participating in the meeting, to ask any questions necessary to submit a bid that is complete and responsive. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this meeting or teleconference. If you plan to participate in the pre-bid teleconference, call in information can be found on the ProcureWare website at www.nppd.com under Bids & Contracts.
In addition to the pre-bid meeting, the DISTRICT will conduct a non-mandatory field visit on November 19, 2025, at the conclusion of the pre-bid meeting. Bidders who plan on being in attendance need to pre-register by emailing both Greg Trofholz at gatrofh@nppd.com and Jason Moser at jemoser@nppd.com by November 17, 2025. Please include the company name and all attendees to allow for arrangements with security prior to the meeting day.
Note: Bidders shall not physically access the property during the bidding process. The DISTRICT will allow escorted access to the site at the conclusion of the pre-bid meeting. The Bidder shall not access any private property, and the boundaries of private property may not be marked.
