Historic Marker Sign

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Purchasing Office, City Hall, 135 E. Maumee Street, Adrian, MI 49221, for installation of a glass sign in the City of Adrian. City Hall is located at 135 E. Maumee Street, Adrian. Specifications for the project are attached.

Part A: Scope of Work

Install a 40”x84”x9/16” glass insert into an existing 48”x96” aluminum frame to replace damaged piece. The glass insert must be black/clear graphics and depict the image below. (JPEG proof file available upon request) The bottom plaques are not to be included in pricing. Top of the glass panel must have the same contour cut as the existing damaged piece.

The original damaged sign being replaced is located at 135 E. Maumee St, Adrian, MI for reference.

If the successful bidder, we will begin work within_______________calendar days of approval and will complete within______________calendar days.

The City of Adrian reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.

The City reserves the right to separate parts or award all parts together as necessary.

All bids must be firm for not less than 120 days after official opening of bids.

The City of Adrian has a local preference policy

No contract shall be made with any person, firm or corporation in default of the city.
