The Minnesota Department of Commerce – Division of Energy Resources intends to purchase sponsorship of the 2026 2nd Annual Tribal Energy Forum hosted by the Tribal Advocacy Council on Energy (TACE). TACE is a sovereign, inter-tribal council in Minnesota dedicated to advancing energy independence, sustainability, and economic opportunity for Tribal Nations. By coordinating Tribal leadership with state, federal, and clean energy partners, this first-of-its-kind Tribal‑led organization ensures Indigenous priorities guide regional energy planning and policy development. The Tribal Energy Forum brings together Tribal leaders, utilities, state and federal agencies, colleges, clean energy partners, nonprofits, and community organizations to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and support sustainable energy development in Native communities. As the only Tribal-energy-focused conference in Minnesota for the remainder of 2026, sponsoring the event provides meaningful opportunities to engage directly with the organizations and leaders involved in Tribal energy planning and infrastructure across the state.
