APEX Accelerators are an official government contracting resource for small businesses. Find your local APEX Accelerator (opens in new window) for free government expertise related to contract opportunities.
APEX Accelerators are funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to replace the existing fire alarm system with a new campus wide fire alarm system in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. The new system must be nonproprietary meaning the manufacture allows fair and open competition between vendors selling the fire alarm devices. The manufacturer of the new system must provide certified maintenance and repair training for 2 of the VA’s maintenance personnel in order to keep the majority of the system maintenance in house.
