Separate sealed BIDS for CARBON REDUCTION GRANT - DETECTION SYSTEMS FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS, Project No. CRPDC-MR26(900), Morgan County, Alabama, consisting of Signal Improvements at Various Locations in the City of Hartselle, Morgan County, will be received at the City of Hartselle Municipal Building, 611 Chestnut Street, Hartselle, Alabama 35640 until 2:00 p.m. CDT, Thursday, September 17, 2026 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. No bids will be accepted or opened after the deadline.
Envelopes containing bids must be addressed as follows, and delivered to City of Hartselle, ATTN: Rita S. Lee, City Clerk – Controller, 611 Chestnut Street NW, Hartselle, Alabama 35640. All bids, including courier envelopes inside and outside, should be clearly marked as containing “SEALED BID” FOR CARBON REDUCTION GRANT – DETECTION SYSTEMS FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS, Project No. CRPDC-MR26(900)

BID Bond or a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the price bid, payable to the OWNER, must accompany each bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount, will be required of the successful Bidder. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
The City of Hartselle reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in bidding, and to award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
Attention is called to the CONTRACTOR’S ALABAMA LICENSE LAW, Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama (1975) as amended. CONTRACTOR must be licensed under specialty classification Municipal and Utility.
