BID 20260549, GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL – SUPPLY AND DELIVERY – ANNUAL CONTRACT

Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made as part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the bid and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and effect
as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified bid date, shall conform with the additions,
deletions and revisions listed herein.
ITEM #1 - QUESTIONS/ANSWERS:
Q1: Can you provide two (2) recent invoices with the corresponding Bills of Lading (BOLs) for each product?
A1: See attached.
Q2: What is the expected start date for deliveries?
A2: The contract is expected to commence on October 1, 2026.
Q3: Is this a multiple-award contract that may be split between multiple vendors?
A3: Yes. As stated in TS-09 Criteria for Award “The County has the option of awarding this bid in whole, or in part, to the
lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) submitting the lowest firm differential.”
Q4: Are vendors required to bid on both the Transport and Tank Wagon items to be considered responsive?
A4: No. As stated in TS-09 Criteria for Award “The County has the option of awarding this bid in whole, or in part, to the
lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) submitting the lowest firm differential.”
Q5: Who are the incumbent suppliers?
A5: Pro Energy and Rogers Petroleum.
Q6: Have either of the incumbent suppliers renewed under the current contract?
A6: The current contract has been renewed twice. There are no more renewal options left on the current contract which is
why we are re-soliciting.
Q7: What are the DBE requirements?
A7: The County does not require the use of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The DBE participation goal is 1% to
satisfy applicable Transit guidelines.
Q8: Does this contract include a local preference?
A8: No.
Q9: Are all storage tanks at the service locations above ground?
A9: Yes.
Q10: Can transport loads be split among multiple delivery locations on the same delivery?
A10: Yes. Transport loads are often split between multiple delivery locations to maximize a full load, depending on the

locations and the quantities needed to fill each tank. A split load may be delivered between two (2) primary fuel yards and/or
up to four (4) Fire/EMS locations. A load may also be split between diesel fuel and gasoline using a multi-compartment
transport truck.
Q11: Are references required?
A11: Yes. Please refer to TS-08 References and page 34 of the bid document.
Q12: Are there any reporting requirements?
A12: No.
Q13: Are bidders required to submit a Certificate of Insurance with their bid submittal?
A13: No.
Q14: Are bidders required to submit Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) with their bid submittal?
A14: No.
Q15: Is the awarded vendor responsible for managing site inventory?
A15: No.
Q16: Is the awarded vendor responsible for fuel testing?
A16: No.
Q17: Will the awarded vendor be responsible for supplying additives?
A17: No.
Q18: Is the use of a third-party carrier considered subcontracting and therefore subject to the 49% contract value limitation?
A18: Yes.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260549. Bidders
are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
