Minnesota Climate Innovation Finance Authority (MnCIFA) is seeking financial modeling services of an energy generating project portfolio as part of its submission to the US Department of Energy’s Loan Program Office (LPO) under the State Energy Financing Institution (SEFI) category. The proposal consists of $120,000,000 of loans from the Loan Program Office as part of a $150,000,000 proposal to fund solar installations on school buildings throughout Minnesota. The financial model should incorporate all elements of the portfolio design to meet the submission requirements of the LPO. This will include at least an annual analysis of the cash flow from MNCIFA, loan drawdowns, lease payments from schools, the effect of federal tax credits, and the use of other complimentary financing sources.
