Description : The McAllen Public Utility is soliciting electronic informal price quotations for a Service Contract for Janitorial Services for Billing and Meter Reader Department.

Deadline: Electronic price quotations addressed to Mr. Gerardo Noriega, CPPB, Director of Purchasing and Contracting, will be received until Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., Central Daylight Time (CDT ).  All price quotations are only to be submitted electronically through the McAllen Public Utility’s bidding portal: https://mcallen.procureware.com , on or before the aforementioned date and time.  Original, hard copy, and/or late price quotations shall not be accepted.

Site Visit: A site visit will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. For any inquiries, please contact Ms. Ester Balboa, Utility Billing Manager, at (956) 681-1646.

To view this solicitation and submit a price quotation, you must first register in the City’s bidding portal at https://mcallen.procureware.com .  Solicitation documents will not be mailed, e-mailed, or provided in person. Once registered, you will also be added to the solicitation distribution list for changes and/or additions via Addenda form.

Potential bidders are asked to post their questions on our bidding portal under the tab labeled “Clarifications” under the relative project number .

The McAllen Public Utility reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all price quotations and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, or to accept the Bid considered the best value to the City, and to hold the bids for a period of forty-five ( 45 ) days without taking action.
