Provision of Waste Management Services

The Scope of Services includes the provision of all goods, materials, equipment, labour, and services necessary to deliver waste management services in accordance with the requirements outlined in this Tender. Unless otherwise expressly stated by the Bidder, all quoted prices shall be deemed to include the costs associated with the management of all waste streams, including the provision of waste containers, collection, hauling, and disposal of regularly generated non-hazardous solid waste and recyclables.
The Work shall be provided for six (6) SIGA sites located throughout Saskatchewan, inclusive of SIGA Central Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Bidders may submit a bid for one (1) site, multiple sites, or all sites. The Bidder shall furnish all labour, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and other resources required to complete the Work and shall include in its Bid Price all applicable taxes, overhead, profit, and other costs necessary for the satisfactory performance and acceptance of the Work.

REQUIREMENTS OF QUALIFYING VENDOR

• Must have a Certificate of Insurance or letter from an insurance company in good standing confirming the bidder’s ability to obtain general liability coverage not less than two (2) million dollar ($2,000,000), should the bidder be awarded a contract.
• Must be fully licensed for waste management services by the Government of Saskatchewan and registered with Saskatchewan Justice;
• Vendor’s employees serving the sites must have a valid Saskatchewan Driving License.
• Ensure all personnel performing work at SIGA casino properties are at least nineteen (19) years of age and comply with all site rules and applicable policies.
• Must have at least three (3) references of good standing for the same or similar scope of work.
• Must be a registered member with Workers Compensation Board (WCB) of Saskatchewan.
• Must have all necessary equipment to perform waste pick up and removal including truck and cleaning materials, tools and equipment;
• SIGA reserves the right to contact any or all Bidders to clarify their submission.
• The pricing listed in the Bid submission shall be valid for 90 days from the submission deadline date.
• Must accommodate bin relocation to support construction areas and road repairs.
