Summary

Pierce County’s goal for this Request for Proposal (RFP), is to obtain one or more contract(s), which provides access to primary manufacturers for equipping/upfitting the communication systems for Pierce County emergency response vehicles (Ex: law enforcement vehicles [including specialty vehicles such as SWAT/SIU], fire apparatus, and public works vehicles etc.). Primary manufacturers are those which Pierce County requires to fulfill its public safety and communications specific parts needs. Proposers are not required to carry all primary manufacturers. Proposers, who do not carry all primary manufacturers may receive a partial award for one primary manufacturer at the sole discretion of Pierce County. Pierce County will consider secondary manufacturers at Pierce County’s sole discretion.
