The University of Nebraska is in the process of transitioning their use of an online bidding tool from IonWave (eBid) to the SAP Ariba platform. The University of Nebraska is requesting information from all Suppliers who are currently registered in the IonWave (eBid) system to register in the University’s SAP Ariba system. It is our intent to distribute registration information to all Suppliers who are not currently registered within the University in the SAP Ariba system. All sourcing events will transition to the SAP Ariba system at a later date (estimated quarter 1 of 2025). Registration within the University SAP Ariba system will be required to respond to University of Nebraska solicitations.
Once the Request for Information process has been completed, the University will send SAP Ariba registration instructions to the designated contacts at each of the responding suppliers who are not already registered within the University of Nebraska SAP Ariba system . All notifications will be sent via email.
SAP Ariba will be the main system used across all University of Nebraska affiliated locations to transmit purchase orders, process payments, and notify suppliers of new sourcing events. Documents from the University of Nebraska will be transmitted via email or through the SAP Business Network, depending on the supplier’s preferences and account.
Questions related to this Request for Information (RFI) must be submitted to eBid@nebraska.edu. All questions submitted prior to the Questions Deadline will be addressed via an addendum to this RFI.
