| Description: | In June of 2024, the City of Beatrice was awarded a FY24 DOT Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) Grant, to plan and construct the reroute US Highway 136 out of Downtown Beatrice. While the FY24 RAISE Grant will transform downtown Beatrice, the City will require assistance to support strategic planning efforts for the new downtown, ensuring that the project results in the cultivation of “right sized” small and emerging businesses along the corridor, leading to job creation, and sustainable economic development. |
