The purpose of this unsealed invitation for bid is to establish a term contract with qualified Contractors to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical transportation services. Services shall be available twentyâfour (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, for the Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute (SWVMHI) located in Marion, Virginia. SWVMHI is an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. All services provided under the resulting contract must comply fully with applicable Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines and regulations.
