Asphalt Plant Mix - District 4 (supplemental)

This solicitation is issued to establish an Open Agency Contract to procure Asphalt Plant Mix in accordance with the documents contained herein.

This is an Open Agency Contract with no minimum or maximum purchases required. The Asphalt Plant Mix bidder must be a supplier/source listed on the current Qualified Products List (QPL) #45.

The supplier/source must be on the QPL no later than the closing date and time of the Request for Quote. Contact the Office of Materials and Research at (404) 608-4885 regarding application and acceptance on the Qualified Products List.

In addition to the above requirements, the Asphalt Plant Mix must conform to the current DOT Standard Special Provision 400, 402, and 828 and must adhere to any subsequent revision throughout the term of the contract. The QPL identifies materials, and suppliers whose materials have been approved for GDOT use. Suppliers on the QPL have submitted products to the Department, which have been tested and have been proven to meet the specification requirements of the Department. These Suppliers do not need to submit samples for products previously tested and approved pre-solicitation qualification. However, the Department reserves the right to request and test samples to ensure continued specification compliance. When required, samples will be tested in accordance with GDOT Standard Specification, current edition.
